Imagine spending your days marooned on a floating island located in one of the most beautiful off-shore reef lagoons in Fiji with breathtaking 360° panoramic views.
Welcome to Cloud 9
The brainchild of Tony Philip, a former multiple Windsurfing World Champion, whose spectacular man-made floating island, moored in the Ro Ro Reef among the waters of Vanua Malolo in the Mamanucas, offers a versatile mix of lounge bar, sundeck, sunbathing and windsurfing.
Located 45 minutes by boat from Port Denarau, or just ten minutes from Musket Cove Resort, Cloud 9 is a destination like no other in Fiji. Indeed, the island, which looks like something out of the movie Waterworld (yet with martinis and a DJ), is the first of its kind in the world and has become one of Mamanuca Island’s ‘must-see’ experiences.
Cloud 9 offers a unique leisure experience for visitors to Fiji and caters for day-trippers as well as functions such as weddings. Splash overboard into the aqua marine reef and snorkel amongst the tropical fish, or try your hand at windsurfing with Cloud 9’s expert windsurfers.
For those who want to kick back and relax, stretch out on one of the over-water day beds or hammocks and sip a cocktail while soaking up the smooth mellow beats from Cloud 9’s own in-house DJ. Now this is living!
Cloud 9 boasts a fully-licensed cocktail bar on board, as well as a Teppanyaki BBQ. However, don’t miss trying the spectacular Italian wood-fired pizzas on board, which are handmade and cooked within minutes for your convenience.
If you’re travelling as part of a large group or for a special event, Cloud 9 can be hired out either on a partial or exclusive basis.
Day trips to Cloud 9 begin from $159FJD per adult and $79.50FJD for children up to 12. Prices include return transfers, lunch and two drinks per person.
