Stay connected at 30,000 feet! We are proud to offer Wi-Fi and Live TV onboard our brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Stay in touch with family and friends, or get some work done using our onboard Wi-Fi, or keep on top of news and sports
with Live TV on your personal seat-back entertainment screens.

 

 

Use your laptop or any Wi-Fi enabled mobile device to access the Internet if your flight is travelling within the coverage area shown below.

Log on and you can surf the web, instant message, email and use your VPN – all at 30,000 feet.

 

 

Additional Information

  • Your data is only available for use on one flight and cannot be used on other flights. No refunds are offered for unused data.
  • Wi-Fi and Live TV are only available on B737Max 8 aircraft.
  • Please deactivate all automatic software updates and video streaming on your device to avoid unnecessary data consumption.

 

Browsing Guidelines

Activities like browsing, emailing, messaging, and posts on social media are supported well however heavy on-data activities are not available.

Please bear in mind:

  • All guests share the bandwidth across the plane.
  • Things which involve heavy data items such as file downloads are not available

 

In-Seat USB Power

All seats on the B737Max have individual in-seat USB ports located on the screen. These ports supports Type A & C formats with charging capability.

AC power is only available in Business Class seat.

 

Complimentary Live TV

Limited time only, we will offer complimentary live TV covering BBC, CCN and Sports 24 channels. Access to Live TV is available from your seat back screens.

Use of PED devices onboard

We’ve revised our Personal Electronic Device (PED) policy so that you’re able to capture those outstanding photos of take-off, landing and in-flight photos.

Light PEDs such as smart/mobile phones, tablets/iPads, handheld cameras, media players (CDs, MP3s, iPods), handheld electronic games, e-readers can be used gate-to-gate provided Flight Mode is activated.

For safety reasons, laptops, other larger PEDs or those that do not have Flight Mode must be stowed away during taxi, take-off and landing.

For passengers who are sitting at an exit row, all PEDs must be stowed away safely during take-off and landing.

Please keep your fellow travelers in mind by using headphones when listening/watching content.

All guests are kindly requested to refrain from using your PEDs and remove your personal headsets during the safety briefing.

What is the inflight Wi-Fi service?

This service allows you to wirelessly connect to the Internet at or above 10,000 feet, via your personal electronic device (e.g. laptop, tablet, smartphone).

Who Provides the Inflight Wi-Fi service?

Panasonic is the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the Wi-Fi service on this flight. As the ISP, Panasonic is responsible for customer care and billing.

How do I purchase a Wi-Fi session?

There are multiple options to purchase a Wi-Fi session:

As a new user, select the desired product plan and create a user account.  This is most flexible and allows you to log on/off and switch devices.

You can also purchase and access a desired product plan as a guest user.  This provides the fastest way to get connected.

If you already have an account, simply log in and select the desired product plan.  

As a roaming user, select a roaming partner from the drop down list and enter your  user credentials.

To use a voucher code, enter your code to redeem for the product plan.

Which credit card types accepted on this flight?

The Wi-Fi service can be purchased using Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club.

What if I lose connection after purchasing a Wi-Fi session and I am asked to pay again?

If you lose connection and still have additional connectivity time remaining, you can log in using your existing account info to continue your session. In the event that you made the purchase as a guest user, the session can only be resumed on the device that you made the purchase from.  The system will automatically reconnect the device.

 

How does the inflight Wi-Fi service work?

The aircraft is equipped with wireless access points, which allow you to connect your Wi-Fi-enabled device to the onboard network, much like a public Wi-Fi hotspot on the ground.

The aircraft’s satellite antenna provides a satellite connection to Panasonic’s purchase path pages.

Through Panasonic’s ground network, you are able to connect to the Internet onboard the aircraft.

What types of devices can I use to connect to the inflight Wi-Fi service?

To connect, you can use any Wi-Fi enabled device including your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Please ensure your device´s cellular network is disabled.

What if I have issues connecting to the inflight Wi-Fi service on this flight?

Please try connecting in a few minutes as the Wi-Fi service might be temporarily unavailable.

What if my device cannot connect to the inflight Wi-Fi service?

It is possible there is an issue with the specific device you brought onboard. If the device is company-owned, you may need to adjust the settings on the device and try again. Otherwise, please refer to the instruction manual that was provided for your specific device.

What if the inflight Wi-Fi portal does not appear when I launch my browser?

If the portal does not appear when you launch your browser, enter a public web address (e.g. www.yahoo.com) to redirect your web browser to resolve this issue. If the device you are using is company-owned with special VPN or firewall settings, you may need to adjust the settings and try again.

What if my device cannot connect to the inflight Wi-Fi service?
