Flights from Tokyo
Tokyo is served by Narita International Airport (NRT) located 37 miles (60 km) from Tokyo’s city centre.
The JR Narita Express runs between Narita Airport and Tokyo Station (city centre) and should take about 55 to 65 minutes. The JR Sobu Line is a little cheaper but slower and travels the same route in about 90 minutes. Although the Keisei Skyliner can be as fast as the JR Narita Express, it requires a transfer.
Additionally, several bus companies serve Tokyo airport. The Access Narita drops off at Tokyo Station and Ginza Station. The Tokyo Shuttle runs to Tokyo Station. The Limousine Bus runs to the Shinjuku Station (north-west of the city centre) and several major hotels. Most buses take 100 to 110 minutes to get to the airport from Tokyo Station.
