A number of Fiji Airways and Fiji Link flights will be impacted due to projected adverse weather conditions associated with Severe Tropical Cyclone (TC) Yasa in the region.
The following Fiji Link flights for Thursday 17 December and Friday 18 December have been cancelled, and impacted customers will be booked on the next available service. Impacted flights are listed below. An update for Friday afternoon domestic flights will be issued on Thursday morning while an update for Saturday’s domestic Fiji Link flights (19 Dec) will be issued on Friday, , subject to conducive weather conditions.

The following Fiji Airways flights have been impacted:
- The special ‘FJ 679 Catch the Sunset Flight’, which was to operate on Saturday 19 December 2020, has been postponed to now operate on 2 nd January 2021. Timings for the flight remain the same.
- The Hong Kong-Nadi repatriation flight (FJ 1392) which was scheduled to arrive in Fiji on Thursday 17 December, has been postponed. The flight will now arrive in Fiji on Monday 21 December.
- The Nadi-Sydney repatriation flight (FJ 1911) scheduled for Saturday 19 December has been cancelled.
All Fiji Airways jet aircraft (Airbus A350s Airbus A330s and Boeing 737s) aircraft will be either operate their scheduled freight or repatriation services to Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, or be ferried to Sydney or Auckland over the next two days. These aircraft will remain at those ports until weather conditions in Fiji allow for their safe return. All Fiji Link aircraft (ATR 72s, ATR 42 and Twin Otters) will be secured inside the airline’s Hangar facilities in Nadi.
Customers on impacted flights will be rebooked onto the next available flight. In many cases, supplementary flights or the next available flights can only be confirmed once weather conditions and forecasts improve. Customers will be notified you of the changes to their flight through e-mail, or phone call (via the contact details within their booking). They may contact Fiji Airways Reservations Centre for further details, or to make changes if alternate flights do not suit. All decisions regarding schedule changes have been made in the interest of safety of Fiji Airways and Fiji Link customers and staff.
Customers whose flights are impacted are also able to use their flights at a later date or hold their funds for future use on any Fiji Airways or Fiji Link flight.
